IE problem: quicktime missing
http://img357.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ntitled7qr.gif
It has to do with QuickTime I guess, but what?
I have the latest version and with FireFox, I get the same...
I wanna check out the GW site, because in all that time, I still haven't

Just for reference... the Standalone Quicktime Player is available here...
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/standalone.html
this is the player without the crappy iTunes system... (sometimes rather hard to find this anymore)

I think I know whats wrong. I had a spyware remover program called Hitman Pro on my computer. It has like 5 or more spyware programs in it and it also removes bad content from your computer. So I installed Macromedia Flash Player 8 and it the Guild Wars site was back to normal. Then, I ran another test on spyware and after that, the site was back with the QuickTime icon...
I dunno if this is the problem because I think it just happens at a random time...

Sorry to bump this old thread again but I figured out it has nothing to do with my spyware-remover program.
I wanted to see this movie: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFlcqWQVVuU and it said:
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player, click here to get the latest flash player.
I don't get it, I have JavaScript and I have the latest Macromedia Flash Player 8 version... When I go to the site it says: installation complete, so it's installed but doesn't work!
